#9 Color

Apparently when you start carrying a camera with the intent to take pictures you start noticing your surroundings more. For example, in the picture below, I have probably driven by this store dozens of times. But the colors had not stood out enough for me to pay attention to it.

As soon as I saw the storefront, I knew I had to take a picture. Against the back-drop of the late winter trees the colors were bright and very striking.

I took a step back, and managed to get a little bit of the building next door. Yes, it really is psychedelic. I still need to work on my framing and my horizon lines, but I do love the subject of this picture.

I love this!!!! I want to go see this building. I love yellow. LOVE IT! I was told I couldn't paint the rooms in the house yellow because it's too...bright I guess. Anyway, if I could go prove how awesome yellow paint is, then maybe I'll get to paint a room yellow. Awesome pictures!

Ok you are making me feel bad for being so quick to call it quits on the challenge and change it up. Having a camera in your pocket really does make you appreciate things. Looking for that perfect image makes everything potentially perfect.
