Recently, the Juab County Fair was held. This was the third year I have decided to enter a handful of pictures into the fair. In the past I have been given constructive criticism that I have found helpful in my efforts. In the past I have been reminded of the "Rule of Thirds" as well as was told to watch my horizon. This year I was hoping for additional helpful ideas. However, this year I didn't receive any suggestions, instead I just received praise for what I entered. The photo above received a great review and was actually one that I decided to grab as I walked out the door. I think it was a fun picture and I really enjoyed taking it and getting this close to the animal. I did have a picture of the deer looking at me, but the eyes were glowing, which distracted from the picture. Anyway, the fair was great again this year. I am really impressed with the Fair Board and their efforts to expand the attractions at the fair.
