It wasn't until the a couple weeks ago that I realized it has been quite some time since I had gone out to take some pictures. Just a few hours with me and my camera. I was a little surprised by how much I have missed it. I finally decided to remedy this situation. The following are some of my favorite pictures from the last couple of weeks.
The weekend before the 4th of July I wandered through the Veteran's Memorial and the nearby Rose Garden.
I thought it was interesting how these three roses combined to form a near-perfect heart.
Saturday morning, while driving to my destination I was worried that the thick cloud cover would limit the color and possible great shots. I think it is fair to see I was wrong. I could not believe the intense colors in the sunrise, definitely not limited! I need to get back out and start taking pictures again.
