The last several years, for my birthday, I have treated myself to a movie by myself. This year, I decided to add lunch to the mix. Since my birthday was on a Monday I was unable to take the entire day off work, so I went to work until noon then headed out. I made my way to the Quizno's and had lunch. Now many of you may not think this sounds great, but Quizno's is one of my favorite lunch locations and I have a hard time talking my friends into going to Quizno's. So, going by myself was quite relaxing, I was able to make the decision and didn't have to talk anyone else into it!
After lunch I went to see "Taken". Which, I really liked. There was a plot twist that I was not expecting, but it still managed to be a good movie. Along with a bag of popcorn and a glass of Diet Coke, made it for a perfect movie.
Later that evening my family came over and we had a good time visiting with each other. Truly, it was one of my happiest and most successful birthdays.
