After 3 canceled trips, I finally managed to make it to the Southeast field office. The office is located in Alpharetta, Georgia which about an hour North of Atlanta. I arrived late Tuesday night and returned on Thursday night. I was there less than 48 hours and don't think I stepped out of the office only for lunch and dinner. Speaking of which, while I was in Atlanta I went out for Chinese food one night and had sushi for lunch one day. My brother Mike told me I was a bit messed up, I go to Japan and eat steak, then I head to the south and eat Asian food. I think I was most taken aback by the beauty of Georgia. I honestly did not expect it to be that beautiful. From our office conference room I looked out the window and all I could see in every direction was green trees. As beautiful as it was, I never even took my camera out. I should have gotten at least one picture. Since I didn't take any pictures, I downloaded one of the courtyard at my hotel. The reason I chose this pictures was because my room is seen in the background. The door immediately to the right was mine..
Okay, now I am just rambling. Atlanta was a beautiful place, I really enjoyed meeting everyone in the office. Now that I work more closely with this office, I expect to be making this a quarterly trip. Maybe one of these times I will remember to get a picture.
