This is going to be a brief post. I just have to clear something up. In my post about being 40, I mentioned that I was 40 and single. Well, the other night I was reminded by Girlfriend that I am in fact "NOT SINGLE". I had to explain to Girlfriend my reasoning.
When completing an application for pretty much anything (job, credit card, car loan, college application, etc.) there is usually a section for "Marital Status" and you are usually given 4 options.
***Single***
***Married***
***Divorced***
***Widow/Widower***
Since I see things in black and white and having never been married, "Single" was my most accurate description.
I was still told: "You are not single". The conversation was over at that point.

Thanks for the clarification but what I want to know is when you'll be checking a different box. Marriage is surprisingly wonderful. Of course I'd like to meet her before I encourage you too much. ;)
Soo......are you engaged yet?
So I'm not the only one asking you this question...ha ha ha
