Deflated

Looking at the picture today, you might think it is not very timely. Well, let me explain a little bit. I received an amazing balloon bouquet for Valentine's Day. This Mylar balloon is all that remains. The last several days, as the balloon has been dropping from the ceiling, it has been exploring the house. One day I found it in the laundry room, it rested over the stairway to the basement, it even managed to escape out into the garage. Once it was rescued, I brought it back into the house and it floated around and settled behind the television. I grabbed it today and tried to send it back to the ceiling, but it dropped and began hovering just a couple of inches over the carpet. Still several hours later, it is in the same place. So, that is why it made its way to being picture of the day.
