The Juab County Fair wrapped up late Saturday night. Despite not spending as much time at the Fair as I have in the past, I still think I got my fill.
Thanks to a new co-worker, Kelly H. we were treated to some warm spudnuts. I am not 100% certain how they are made, I guess the best description is a doughnut made with potatoes. They were lighter than I expected. And pretty doggone good.

This storm caused the grand-stands to be evacuated and a 30 minute delay to the derby. Once the storm passed through the evening was pleasant.
I think the drivers were a little more aggressive this year. There was couple of cars that were turned on their tops, one of them even caught on fire. One care ended up high-centering themselves on the burm. (I think they missed a hit and just kept right on going, but I could be wrong.) The night was fun and it seemed like the crowd was into it more this year as well. All-in-all I think the Fair was a huge success and I would suspect everyone that attended this year had a good time.

It has been so long since I have attended a demolition derby or a fair. I need to do that! Even more I need a donut made from potatoes!!!
I used to make spudnuts every Christmas Eve! My family would all come over and we would deep fry them and when everyone had their fill I would take some to the neighbors......I wish I had that kind of energy today!
