After running a few errands in the Provo area, we (Clint, Mike & Ali) were headed for Chinese food. When without warning Mike takes a quick right hand turn pulling into the parking lot for "Wild Ginger". Ali was a little excited, she had been reading reviews and said that she had heard good things about the restaurant. I had never heard of it, but looked at the sign and noticed it said "All you can eat Sushi". Two things immediately popped into my head; of course #1 was: MMMMMMM Sushi. #2 I don't know about a Sushi Buffet. That just seems wrong. I figured that I would give it a try. As we walked through the front doors I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the newly renovated business and the warm greeting we received.
We ordered steamed dumplings to start our meal. The hand-made wraps were excellent and the dumplings were good enough that they didn't need to be dunked. We had a quick discussion with our server and we learned that all of the Sushi Rolls were made fresh when ordered. (Which eased my "buffet" concern.) I thought the lunch-time price of $13.95 per person for all-you-can-eat Sushi was pretty reasonable, considering it is usually at least $7.00 or more per roll at most places I have been. All of the rolls we ordered were excellent. Shown in the picture above was the California Crunch, (top) Godzilla (left) and the Spider (right). The California Crunch was pretty amazing and I loved the Godzilla as well. In addition I was impressed with the Heyburn and the Spicy California. If you are a split family or group with not everyone loving Sushi, have no fear they also have authentic Chinese Food. Which was excellent and a very large portion size.

As you can see by the above pictures, there wasn't much left of our Sushi. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, they kept my Diet Pepsi filled (only negative was it was Pepsi and not Coke products) and I love the small square sushi plates that always remind me of "The Breakfast Club". If you are in Provo and you get a chance you should definitely stop by for Sushi. I know I am going back for Sushi and to try more of the delicious Chinese food. I believe the address is 366 North University Avenue. Try it and let me know what you think!
