Let me be honest for a minute. (Imagine us all sitting around a campfire baring our souls) Normally this is not a post or comment made by guys, but for me it is a celebration. This last weekend, I decided I needed some new Levis/pants/jeans whatever. I had lost a bit of weight and was tired of cinching up all my pants causing them to bunch and bag.
When I walked into the store, I headed directly for the section with all the denim. I grabbed a pair of pants and headed to the fitting room. Buttoning the pants it did not take me long to realize, they were the wrong size. I went back to the denim and grabbed the next size DOWN. They fit pert near perfectly. This was a fairly exciting moment for me as I the first pair I picked up was actually 2 sizes smaller than the tight pair of jeans I had been wearing when I started on the diet. This means I am down 3 sizes which is actually six numbers. Yep, I went from size 78 to size 72. :-) Okay, that might be exaggerated on the current sizes, but I wanted to pick a numbers to demonstrate.
It is not easy, but I do feel like I am doing it the right way. Portion control and healthier eating. Not a crash of fad of some kind. But one I am confident I can live with long-term.
That is all! Just wanted you to think of me, next time you Buy Your Blue Pants.
