A Very AZOMITE Christmas

Hard to believe that this is my third Christmas as an employee of AZOMITE.  Each year, our Christmas parties have just gotten better.  I would like to say that the reason for this is because I have not yet had to plan any of our parties.  I know, that me not planning the parties probably comes as a bit of a surprise to many of you, but it is true.
Our parties have just been very simple and for a lack of a better word, elegant.  We have gone out to a nice restaurant and had an enjoyable meal with our friends/co-workers.  After dinner, our CEO has always stood up and shared a few heartfelt words with us.  This year was no different, we had a nice dinner at La Jolla Groves in the River Bottoms.  The food was excellent.  (Although, I should have had the soup instead of the weed salad.)  Between dinner courses, we took pictures of each employee.  We are always allowed to bring a guest with us, this year I invited a dear friend Kristi.  We are in the middle picture below.  After dinner was over, it was still early, so we wandered around the River Woods Shopping Center for a bit and then went for a drive around Provo/Orem to see the brightly decorated homes.  At one home, we noticed the Santa in the bottom picture below, he was "Tooting".  It is so wrong, but you know darn well I had to make a U-Turn to get some pictures!  The evening was a great success.
One of the other things that has made this Christmas so special, was that as a group, the employees of AZOMITE decided against doing co-worker gifts.  Instead we took what we would have spent and donated it to the local Sub-For-Santa program.  AZOMITE matched what the employees donated.  In the top picture AZOMITE CFO Mark, gives Santa our donation.  I hesitated putting the picture in, because I think it is great to do this anonymously.  However, I think the Sub-For-Santa program is a worthwhile endeavor and would hope maybe in future years you could do the same for your local organization, wherever you are located.
But I think the best part about Christmas at AZOMITE happened yesterday (12/20/13).  Before leaving for some well-deserved time off, our EVP told us all what great assets we are to the team and how blessed he felt to work with such great people.  I love the fact that I work for a company that truly values their employees and is not afraid to tell us!  What a great feeling to know you are appreciated!
