A day at the dentist

Today I had a dentist appointment at noon. Well, I decided that I didn't want to drive to work for just a couple hours only. I did a couple hours of work from home this morning, and then along with Mike and Dad we hit the golf course.

The day was perfect! The weather was in the low to mid-80's and we had a bit of a cool breeze. The only problem was that our game did not go that well. The drives were not that long and my putts were absolutely horrible. We tried to keep the game a typical PG-13 rating. Although, how poorly we were playing, that was a bit of a stretch. I guess the golf was not all bad, Dad managed to make his drives straight and true.

Regardless of how the game went, we had a great time playing golf. It was definitely better than spending the day at work. I think that golf could be one of those games I could get used to playing. I just need to figure out how to play it well. Maybe one of these days, I will open up the wallet and spring for a set of my own golf clubs. Anyone have suggestions on a decent brand of clubs for a beginner?
