Saturday morning I woke up and realized that for the first time in a few weeks I didn't have any plans. I ran into the office for a quick phone call and when I was done, I decided that I would take a drive through the canyon. There is something special about the Nephi Canyon on a Holiday Weekend. As I drove through the canyon my senses were heightened as I was looking for the perfect picture.
Summer was in the air; the cool morning breeze rustling the leaves while blowing through the trees, the creek bubbling as it rolled across the rocks, and insects and birds singing. I could smell the pine on the trees and was treated to the smell of breakfast cooking. I saw campers and trailers with their inhabitants emerging in the sunlight, kids playing games that only kids think are fun, couples walking on the road, and I even saw old glory gently blowing. I took a handful of pictures on my journey. The best of them I have put in the collage below.
I thought about showing each picture individually, but it would have taken too much space. So, they are combined. My favorite pictures are in the middle. I love the small Waterfall and if you look closely at the purple flowers you might notice the butterfly, which was a bonus for me. The morning was great and I loved my drive through the canyon. It was a perfect start to my weekend.

I love it, I do think you should still share all the pictures! But the collage is very pretty
