#12 Nebo Loop In Spring

Waking up Saturday morning I grabbed my camera with the intent of driving up Salt Creek Canyon (aka Nephi Canyon) and snagging a few pictures of some of the Wild Turkeys I have seen there recently. The turkeys have been a bit camera shy they have been hiding and running the last couple times I have seen them. Yesterday I changed my shutter speed knew this was going to be the day. Not to be done. I didn't even see them. Instead I took a bit of a drive up the Nebo Loop road and took a few pictures.

I love the dark green of the pine trees, with the snow covered ground as a back drop.
I found the water and managed to snap several pictures of the beauty of water. Including this little "waterfall".

The creek continued to flow and this picture is of the water just before it runs under the road.
Even the marsh looked peaceful.
I was shocked at how green the moss was this time of year. Especially in stark contract to the yellow of the surrounding grass.
