While on the recent hike as mentioned in my previous post, I was able to have a little fun with perception. The top photo, I sat down on the ground as low as I could get and took the picture upward of my nephew sitting on the rock. In the picture below, I stood up and did a little bit of 12 X zoom. Kind of fun to experiment with the zoom on the camera. I appreciate my nephew being the model for my pictures and managing to smile in wave despite all of my craziness. In addition to the close-up image of the bottom picture, the one thing that really stands out to me is the sky and the perfect blue color.

You know you've reached a new level in your photography when you start rolling around on the ground to get the shot you are after.
