Not too long ago, I had a friend mention to me: "If the people of Nephi knew half of what your dad does for this community, they would all vote for him." I completely agree and that was one of the reasons behind why we, the sons of Robert L. Painter ran an ad in our local newspaper this week.
Here is a copy of that ad:
I could not be more proud of my father and his accomplishments. I am 100% certain that if given the chance to serve as mayor, he would in fact be one of the best mayors we have ever had. (Again not boasting, just stating my opinion.)

Wow, that is great!! What a fantastic tribute to your father. I can't imagine the feelings that overwhelm him when he reads these words his sons have written about him. He is the ultimate lead by example! Great job!!!
