Anyone.....anyone.......

Last night after I watched the Jazz game I was doing a little channel surfing and I ran across Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Despite it being 5 short hours before I had to get up again for work, I let the remote rest as I watched Ferris, Cameron, and Sloane. Ferris is my all-time favorite movie and if I ever run across it on the television I will always stop and watch. Which leads me to this post. I started thinking about what movies do I always watch when I see them while channel surfing. Here is the list I have come up with.

1. Ferris Bueller's Day Off (Obviously)
2. Princess Bride
3. Air Force One--I am a bit chagrined to admit, as soon as I see this I will immediately say: "Get Off My Plane" regardless of what point in the movie is showing.
4. Independence Day
5. Tommy Boy--or pretty much anything Chris Farley
6. Uncle Buck--or pretty much ANYTHING John Candy.

Now I have given you my list, I would be anxious to hear from each of you. What movies do you always stop on and watch?

Can I tell you how much I HATE "get off my plane" Maybe because they show it 17 times a week!!!
I love ANY girly movie, Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Funny thing - I saw Ferris on the other night as well. I stopped and watched it. My list also includes:

Sixteen Candles (John Hughes)
Breakfast Club (John Hughes)
Pretty in Pink (John Hughes)
St. Elmo's Fire
While You Were Sleeping
Far & Away
Can't Buy Me Love (caught my eye just the other day as well)
Sense & Sensibility

10 Things I Hate About You
Men in Black (both of them)
Van Helsing
Princess Bride (I love that you have it on your list! All the classic movie lines come from there)
Rundown
and of course any and all Elvis movies!

I love Ferris Bueller's Day off. We have it on video so whenever I see it I just put on the video to watch without commercials. Classic movie.
I don't watch a lot of TV and when I am channel surfing (at night on Dish Network) it's usually reruns of prime time tv like csi or things like that. I don't watch those.
When they're showing chick flicks though I always watch those. The movie I see showing most often is Fools Rush In.
