I could be King

This past Sunday my mother was in charge of sharing time, she asked me for help with presenting the lesson. I looked at the paper she had and it asked someone to come in dressed as King Benjamin and then teach some of the lessons he taught. I tried to come up with excuses to get out of it, but in the end, I decided that it really wouldn't be too difficult.

As I was thinking about what to wear, it dawned on me what I had in my footlocker. I opened it up and there was exactly what I wanted. I took the things to church with me and as Primary was beginning, I threw the "Robes" over each shoulder and headed in to discuss. All of the kids sat there and watched me the entire time and even participated and helped when I asked questions.

What I thought might be a bit of a bad experience actually turned out great and I actually had a pretty good time.

I could see you as King. Maybe we should try that in our ward. The kids might pay attention.

Be careful they may call you to Primary President.
