Movie Review 2

HANCOCK

I know this movie has received some fairly horrible reviews. But please give no heed to those pompous, stuffed shirt of national movie reviews. Pure and simple this was a fun movie. The majority of my family went to this movie and we all gave it a positive review. To quote my twelve year-old-nephew Chase; 10-10-10. He liked the movie. From the very beginning of the movie they throw some action your direction. I don't know about you, but I go to an action movie to see action. I was not disappointed. The movie even had a good plot--most of the time. About 2/3 of the way through the movie we had a little bit of a twist that made me think--really? Did they just do that? Yes, in fact they did. It seemed to me they needed to make an abrupt ending to the movie and this was the best way to get us there. With that exception, I think the movie was pretty good. I wouldn't take anyone younger than 12 to see it. I was a bit worried about my nephew, I think he was on the edge of being old enough. There was some blood and Will drops the F-bomb once oh and you also get to hear another swear-word repeated, several times. I won't tell you what it is, but it rhymes with "Brass-Bowl". I liked the movie and think most of my friends would enjoy. Don't go into it expecting an art film or even Batman, but go an enjoy it for what it is; an evening of entertainment with a movie that helps you escape reality. Oh and have a handful of popcorn for me. Extra butter please.

We have been wanting to see this---just didn't know if it was a "wait for the dvd." I think we will go check it out.

We saw Hancock tonight and I liked it! I read your review before we went and agree. The twist was SO very unexpected and I liked it. There was eye candy for both me and my hubby.
