I have been contemplating for a few days, what I wanted to post next on my blog. Since nothing really profound came to my mind, I thought maybe I would just give you some of the random blah blah that has been going through my mind.
Ø I am excited for the Dodgers to be back in the MLB playoffs and they are even up one game(and currently ahead by 5 runs in game 2). Kind of makes me feel like everything might be okay in this crazy-crazy world.
Ø Every time I hear or see something regarding the election, the Foo Fighters song “Long Road to Ruin” runs through my head. I don’t think it matters who we elect we are done for. Seriously, can’t we somehow figure out how to select a qualified presidential candidate? I have a feeling I will once again be voting for the lesser of two evils. Or maybe I will just write in Palin since she is the best looking of all the candidates.
Ø In my opinion, the bail-out is wrong, it is just wrong. We are prolonging the inevitable; our market needs the time to correct itself. If the bail-out passes we will just have to deal with this again in a few years (or sooner).
Ø LOVE LOVE LOVE football season. Now if the Rams could figure out how to win one game. As long as I am wishing, maybe I could wish for me to win a fantasy football game or two. Tonight I am cheering on the Utes. But then I return to my oft quoted saying regarding the Utes. “There really is no such thing as a Ute fan; they are all just anti-BYU.” I am still a BYU fan but tonight cheering for the Utes because I love seeing teams from the BCS conferences losing.
Ø Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love the changing of the leaves and there is nothing better than spending the time on the mountain with my brothers and dad. This year we had an added bonus with my nephew joining us.
Ø I keep wondering if Atlanta/Alpharetta would really be a bad place to live/work.
Ø I am looking forward to this weekend. General Conference is one of my favorite times to be taught.
Ø Sometimes I think that I stress too much. It seems that lately I have just been moving from one topic of stress to another. Most of the time it is about things I really cannot influence. Yesterday my brother was telling me about layoffs that were happening at his company. Well, I began to stress and worry about his coworkers and what they are going to do now. Did I mention that I don’t even know these people he was telling me about?
Ø I love iTunes! Although, I think it can be the devil. Spending $.99 at a time for songs didn’t seem like a big deal until I looked at the “Purchased” music section. I wondered how that happened and if I even listen to most of those songs. Well, I looked at the play count column and realized that well, maybe I do listen to them. Although, I do get frustrated when I can’t find songs that I NEED!
Ø Since I am on the topic of technology, I have to say how much I have enjoyed my blog this past year as well as other sites (Facebook). This is great because I have been able to keep in touch with so many of my friends that I had lost touch with. I often wonder how I lost touch with so many of you—when you all were such an important part of my life. I guess because you are all spread across the state and country, but the internet has made you not seem so far away.
Well that's the randomness of my mind. Hope you have enjoyed. If you have any comments about what I have said, let me know.

Man - how agree with you on most of these things. Life is a worry is it not??!! If it is not one thing it really is another. I say - slow down and try to enjoy each day. Heck that is what I am TRYING to do - if you figure it out please let me know. Or just bottle it and sell it on your blog!
Speaking of random thoughts...you have quite the variety of music on your blog...Metallica, Neil Diamond, and Cake....very interesting!
Yep! Not just interesting, but also awesome! You can't be scared of any music.
I disagree with your Utes comment. I liked the Utes long before I hated BYU. My hate for the Y just festers more and more as I work in Happy Valley and receive threats from WARD members!
Love you're random thoughts Clinton. You're able to get caught up with so many people because you're not working. heehee!! I think maybe I'll write in Palin as well. You're reasoning sounds good to me.
