As I was getting ready to pack up from Curtis & Tina's house on Easter-Eve, I mentioned that I needed to go home and boil some eggs to put in the potato salad I had promised mom I would make. Amber leaned over to me and said; will you let me decorate them for you? Up to that point I had not even thought about decorating the Easter Eggs. At that point I began thinking about decorating eggs and realized it had been YEARS since I had decorated eggs. I decided it was a good idea and told Amber that her and Chase could come on up and decorate. I called Mike and Ali and told them to come on up and help. They agreed and we went to work decorating the eggs.
We decorated:

and decorated:

and we ended up with these:

I had so much fun! I bet the last time I decorated eggs was almost 20 years ago. I had forgotten how much fun it actually could be. We decorated an egg for everyone in the family, did some for favorite teams, worthy causes, and of course we did some to celebrate Easter. I don't know if that evening meant much to everyone else, but it was an amazing time for me and an Easter I won't easily forget.

What fun! They all look great too.
I just love your family and I don't even know them...only through what you post!
When my kids would go to my inlaws house, my MIL would let them decorate eggs no matter what time of year. You could always open her fridge and look in the egg rack and see decorated eggs!
I want to be a grandma like that! Thanks for bringing back the momories!
Oh MY!!!!! Wow....those aren't very flattering pictures of me! Guess it is time to get back on the band wagon!!
Thanks for letting us come, we had a lot of fun!
