This is my hometown... the 3rd installment

Those of you that know me, might be a little surprised by my next installment. But I couldn't not talk about the Canyon Hills Colf Course.

UNCROWDED FAIRWAYS

I am not a great golfer and must say, I don't LOVE the game. But I do love the Nephi Golf Course. Canyon Hills Golf Course is a great municipal golf course and is well groomed. The course is easy to get on and has a laid back and relaxing atmosphere. It is a 9-hole course and despite the nearby sandtraps, I have yet to hit a ball into the sand. Although, I may or may not have shot one into the nearby flowing Salt Creek. The golf-course if beautiful and I have always been treated well whenever I have stepped foot onto the course.

In addition to the great golfing available, the location of the course is amazing. It sits at the mouth of the Nephi Canyon, where you can see the mountains come to life in the spring and the beautiful colors of the leaves in the fall. During Winter and into early Spring the deer trickle out of the mountains and help keep the fairways cut short. If you are lucky enough, you will catch a glimpse of one of the large bucks that lives nearby.

Even though I am not a great golfer, or even a good golfer for that matter. But, I still love the Nephi Golf Course and know that if you tried the greens of Canyon Hills, you might take the short drive to golf our quiet course.
