I drove by this view one time and thought, that might be a good picture. But I kept going. Then, just as I was less than a block away from home I decided to go back and take the picture. I really thought that the two old cars at the closed down service station would be picturesque.
It turned out that the concept of the picture was better than the actual picture. I took several different shots and just could not come up with exactly what I wanted.
I made my way around to the South side of the building and took several shots. Still it didn't feel quite right. So, I decided to try a black and white image. I thought the old timey look to the picture was more of what I wanted to capture. Not perfect, but I am glad that I went back and took a few pictures. I was at least able to experiment with a few different settings on my camera.

I really love what you are doing with this picture challenge! I really need to work harder on finding the perfect picture I think!
I like it! Maybe sepia tone. You could frame it with black matting or somehting. Very nice!
