Deer Me Two!

Thanks to the new picture challenge I accepted, I decided I needed to try and find some inspiration. So in an attempt to find that inspiration, I grabbed my camera and took a trip up the canyon. On my way home, I thought I would take a detour past the golf course to see if there might be some deer out and about. Although none of these are those rare once in a life-time photos, I still thought I would share a few pictures.

I could not resist snapping a picture of these two young bucks as they sparred. I only wish it was a little earlier in the day so there would have been better light.
I managed to get a shot of this bruiser as he lumbered across the flat. I kept hoping he would get closer, but I guess I just wasn't quite that lucky.

I really liked the look of this doe as I drove by. I love how observant they are of everything and how they continually watch their surroundings. She was very aware of my presence but still managed to look at me when I pulled out the camera.

Although none of these pictures are praiseworthy or even very artistic, I still loved seeing getting out and seeing some great deer as well as enjoyed this spring-like weather we are currently experiencing.
