WOW! Really?

Sitting here tonight I couldn't believe we have (nearly) made it a month into the New Year. Seriously? Well, that made me realize it has been quite a while since I have last posted one of my mind dumps, a random blah blah, or something along those lines. So, here are the thoughts that have been running through my head:

  • New Year's Resolutions: How are you doing on yours? Mine are still on track.

  • In the neighborhood of 38 days and my baby brother gets married.

  • In less than 36 days I will be a new uncle. Baby Butterfly is due March 8, if mommy Ali makes it that long.

  • Tomorrow makes it one year since I left the FranklinCovey. OH MY HELL where has the time gone? I miss my friends.

  • But love my new friends and coworkers.

  • Elk Foundation Banquet this Saturday. Been working on putting the program together. Do you have your tickets yet?

  • Chris' new puppy barks at me every morning when I go to work. Wonder if he will ever get used to me? (Probably not because.....)

  • I just signed a lease on renting a house. I will be moving after the Elk Banquet is over.

  • Big Football Game this Sunday. Been worried about the menu. Although, I think Natalie gave me some great suggestions.

  • Trying to finish reading Great Expectations. Don't think I will wrap it up before the month ends, especially since I am on page 278 of 550. (Or something like that)

  • When you dream, dream big. Okay, I have not been thinking that exact comment, but I have really been enjoying Ryan Shupe and the Rubberbands song "Dream Big" lately. It really is good advice.

  • Yes, the picture at the top here was taken through the front windshield of a truck. I intentionally picked this picture because of the beautiful sunset being distorted from by window, the rain on the window, the dirt etc. And how many of the wonderful things in our life can seem distorted by distractions. (Deep right?)

Enough! See, now you know why I am so messed up. All those thoughts (and many others) trying to run through my little brain all at the same time.

Another baby? yay! I can't wait to see pictures of the house. Yes my new years resolution is on track. And I can not believe it has been a year. I didn't know how I was going to do not talking to you everyday. I still don't know....we talk ALL THE TIME!
