A few weeks ago while camping I was out trying to find some good pictures of the flora. The ground was covered with these little purple flowers.
They were kind of a cool little flower and I knelt down to get a close-up of one in the sun.
But my favorite picture ended up not being of the flowers at all, but instead of this butterfly. He was kind of a skittish little guy and didn't want me to get too close to him, so I experimented with the zoom function and was pleased with myself that I was actually able to hold steady enough to get a somewhat decent picture.
I don't know about you, but I am really enjoying the great colors of spring this year.

What a great butterfly capture - they are nearly impossible to get.
