The other day on my way to work, I drive through 5 different construction zones. As I was entering the last construction area, I said to myself: "I am sick of construction!" This started me thinking about everything that has been under construction in my life lately. All of my daily and weekly reports have been getting a face lift because due to all of our decentralization efforts.
Additionally, it seems as though there are always aspects of our life that we are fixing or changing. Maybe we don't like the size of our bellies, or we don't like the style, color, (or amount) of our hair, or maybe we decide to change our attitudes. Is it just human nature that we are always striving to change or improve ourselves? Why is it that we are never content with who or what we are?
Well, one of these days I hope to have all my reports at work fixed, loose 50 pounds and maybe get some new hair. But that won't be until after I get a new attitude and give up this damn swearing.
