Conveniently Located
As all the loyal readrs know, Nephi is just a mere 72 miles from the FranklinCovey. But what else is nearby? Nephi is a short 30-35 minute drive from the Provo Towne Centre and all of the restaurants, stores, and conveiences you can find in Utah County. We are 20 minutes away from the nearest Wal-Mart. Having lived in Salt Lake City for 6 years, I know from Experience that it often takes you more than 20-30 minutes just to get across town. The only difference, our drive is wide open and we are moving, not in the wonderful Stop-and-Go traffic found in the Salt Lake Valley.
I often hear from many of you how far Nephi is and "what a long drive" it is just to get to Nephi. You know what that means? We are "that long drive" closer to many of your vacation destinations. An hour closer to Vegas, Lake Powell, St. George, this does not suck!
But moreover than the above mentioned items. We are nestled in a valley that is absolutely amazing. All around us are fantastic scenic locations. You just cannot beat the views to the East and the West.
A great view off the top of Goat Canyon, with the scenic Sevier River winding through the bottom.
The amazing fall leaves, in the valley below The Red Cliffs. Although I don't have a picture I took, you can't beat the INCREDIBLE view of leaves from the Nebo Loop Road.
Near Willow Creek, look at all the foliage and yes, that is a real bear. Thanks to my trail-cam I didn't see the bear up close and personal.
The contrast between the once scorched ground where I was located towards the snow covered Mt. Nebo.
In my humble opinion this view is nothing short of breath-taking.
I have been to some of the most amazing and beautiful places in the world, tropical islands, beautiful canyons, the orient and multiple coastlines. While they are all pretty awesome in their own way, you just cannot beat the beauty of what lies close to home.

Gorgeous! And since I drove through twice last weekend, I can back you up, it really is beautiful.
I also love that Dan Seals played as I read - haven't heard him in ages.
