Nephi City Councilman Robert L. Painter was re-elected to this position on November 6. After having served for the past 4 years and really enjoying this office, he decided that he would run for re-election. After several weeks of putting together newspaper ads and some brochures the day finally arrived to cast our ballots. When all of the votes were counted, dad was re-elected. Unofficial vote totals are as follows:

Just by way of formality these are subject to change as there are still the absentee and provincial ballots to be counted. Regardless of the outcome, Nephi City will still have my dad as a councilman for the next 4 years. Congratulations Dad!!!!!
