Primary Program is a Success!

The annual 7th Ward Primary Program was held on October 28 and it turned out nice. Now you might be wondering why I am talking about Primary. (Since my calling is Executive Secretary) A couple months ago mom was put in as 2nd Counselor in the Primary Presidency--just in time to get to work on the primary program. As time drew closer it was decided that a picture would be displayed with each change in topic. Mom and I spent several times pouring over the program to decide what picture would go with each topic change. We developed a list and ventured to the Distribution Center. I think the distribution center employees considered us to be crazy--because between the two of us, we ended up buying 30 (or more) pictures. But let me tell you, we had a stack of pictures. We brought the pictures back to the house and organized the pictures to coincide with the topic changes. The day of the program Sister Jessen sat on the stage and changed the pictures. Even from where I was sitting on the back row of the Chapel I could identify each of the pictures and thought they helped add to the Spirit of the meeting. In addition to the participation of me and mom both Chase and Ali had parts with the program. You might say it was a family affair. Okay, other families did have more participation but as far as I know, none of them have posted it on the web! I thought the meeting was great and an enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance.
