Friday night I had the opportunity to spend an evening helping to celebrate Baby A's turning 1. I cannot believe that it has been a year since I sat at home with phone in hand, texting mom and Mike waiting to hear the news of this adorable little girls arrival.
She LOVES the camera! Seriously, you can look at her and tell her to smile and for about 1.3 seconds she will post perfectly and smile with that smile that could melt even the gruffest persons heart. To help her celebrate the family gathered together and spoiled her rotten!
She was so text-book one-year-old! While opening presents she would get excited and tear the paper out of the gift bags to reveal the presents inside. She would love the clothes or the toys and then in a rather nonchalant way, when the next gift was placed in front of her, she would shove them aside.
After clean-up, she was even good enough to spend a few seconds posing with her Uncle Clint. Auntie Liz captured this picture and I love it! This is one of her favorite faces that she pulls and I was lucky enough to be pulling it at the same time as her and Liz was able to snap the photo.
What a great day to celebrate this special little girl that has brought so much happiness into this hard-hearted man's life! Happy Birthday Baby A! Love you!
