This past weekend I was doing some cleaning and ran across a hundred or so pictures, back from 2006. The pictures were all from when I was working with the Scouts. I was surprised how much everyone has changed in the last 6 or so years.
The scouts have all grown up, some of them are married, some in college and yet others are on missions. As I looked at the pictures of me, I wondered where that guy went. It seemed like when I was working with these outstanding young men I had all the energy in the world to keep up with them. Of course, I was younger then. Well, that and I was going to the gym 4 or 5 times a week, hitting the treadmill and lifting weights. I wonder if there is a correlation. (ha ha, of course there is) As I looked at this picture, I laughed at my beard, some random contest at work had me change from the usual beard. I think this one makes me look a little evil. Just a little! Always so much fun to look at pictures and reminisce about the past. I do have to point out to any of these young men that were once my scouts, you might want to keep me on your good side, I have pictures that could case you extreme embarrassment.
