Well, a couple of weeks ago, one of the current active brothers sent me a message on Facebook asking if I wanted to get together. I thought it might be kind of a fun thing to do. Kind of a check-in to see how my old fraternity is doing. Well, Nate and I met for dinner at PF Changs and we had an hour and a half conversation. When it was time to head out, I walked away with a couple of different thoughts. First, it was confirmed in my mind that this younger generation, Nate is jut 19 years-old, is pretty well put together. Nate was well versed and could converse coherently on a variety of topics. Something that I am certain took my more than 19 years to be able to do. Secondly, I was grateful for Sigma Chi and the opportunity that it gave me an old guy from Nephi, UT to meet a well-rounded and motivated young man from Minnesota. Good Luck Nate and In Hoc to you all my brothers.

Meeting the Old Guard???? Wait, that's me.
Many of you probably already know that while in college, I became a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Which provided me with an opportunity to get to know an even great number of remarkable people. (They only added to the group of remarkable people I had previously met at my years at SUU.)

Wow - how did we become the old guard? I still think of us all as twenty-somethings.
