One of the places I enjoy most is the Juab County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds houses two of our major summertime vents. The Annual Ute Stampede:
I have blogged in the past about how much I enjoy the Stampede as well as all of the associated activities and events. I like running into old friends, watching the parades, the Chuck Wagon Breakfast, and the City of Fun Carnival.
In addition to the Ute Stampede, the Fairgrounds is the home of the Juab County Fair. The time of year when you as a young person in 4-H has the opportunity to display what you have learned the past year, seamstresses put their creations out for judging, gardeners bring in their vegetables to be compared to others, amateur photographers and artists, display their creations. There are dutch-oven cook-offs, diaper derbies, a demolition derby, and a week long event of activities. It is a good time and a great way to finish out the summer.
