Anyone but the Patriots...

Most of you should know by now, football is by far my favorite of all the sports. I believe in the past I have called it the most true of all sports. Well, this past season has been rather dismal for me. The Rams decided that they did not want to really show up this season, winning only 3 games. Which what does that tell me? They knew they were horrible but not smart enough to tank the season and get the first pick of the draft. Further making this football season difficult for me to handle is the success of the Cheating Patriots. Seriously, they are my least, least, least, favorite team. It is possible that I loathe, despise, and even wish bad things upon their players. Maybe that is a little harsh, but still it might be true.

Off the field, I have had a miserable season in the realm of fantasy football. I participated in three different fantasy leagues this year. Between the three leagues, I won a total of--get ready for this one--twelve games. A total of 39 games and I won 12. I am so ashamed.

I guess the one bright light is in my pick 'em leagues I have not been horrible. In the league against my brothers, I was in the lead until the last 3 weeks. That was kind of sad seeing me drop out of the top spot. What's even worse, thanks to the stupid games this past weekend, I dropped from 2nd to 3rd. So, at least I wasn't dead last here. Right Mike? Then in a pick 'em league with my coworkers, I finished somewhere around the middle. Although, I did take the top spot within my business unit. Which really isn't saying much, except I was better than most.

Here's looking forward to a good off-season, a Patriot loss in their first play-off game, and hopefully a great January for the Jazz. Anyone for a game of basketball?
