The scales don't lie.

Yep, went to the old WW meeting last night. First off, I have to say, having the weigh-in on a day I am off work just stinks! Seriously, yesterday was the LONGEST day of waiting. Fortunately, I was able to spend some time at the gym which helped keep my mind off snacking. When the weigh-in time rolled around I couldn't get to meeting fast enough. The scales told me that I was down another 2.2 pounds. For those of you that are blessed enough not to worry about weight-loss might say, what's up with this .2 thrown on the end? Can't he just say 2 pounds? Nope, I can not and refuse to do so. That extra .2 is important. #1 It means I lost more than 2 pounds and #2 When it is combined with the 3.4 from last week, my total loss for the past two weeks is 5.6 pounds. AND 5.6 pounds is closer to 6 than to 5 pounds. Making me feel that much better about where I am at.

Oh and for those of you keeping track. I did not get all my water in this past week, but was much better. Getting my 80 oz. of water a day is still the goal. Which should hopefully get me to my next goal!

Me being a "numbers" person myself - I agree.... point two is VERY important.

Not including the .2 is like telling a marathon runner they only ran 26 miles. I believe the correct # is 26.2. You can't run that far or try to lose weight and not count the entire "distance"

Unfortunately Scales don't lie. It would be nice if they would once in a while though. I would like to just once step on the scale and have it actually say "just right... Not too big, not too small" well actually I might like it to say too small, but since that will never happen in my lifetime I would settle for just right. Keep up the good work and the .2 is worth the fight. :o)
