Oh How I Love Our Savior! My testimony of our Savior has been deeply enriched and strengthened through the love and the teachings of the Prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley. I am deeply saddened by his passing and I will miss his inspiration, testimony and the care he has for all the people of the world.
I am so grateful that this past Christmas Season I was able to hear him share his testimony at the Christmas Devotional. What a great experience that was for me.
My mom's sister, Florence, met him when she was managing the Chevron south of Nephi a few years ago. She was working in the store when in walked President Hinckley. She ran up to him and gave him a big hug before his security even had a chance to stop her. He just hugged her back and told her how much she was loved.
I will always have fond memories of such a great man and prophet.
