Monday Night Truthiness!

Monday is the day I face the music. It is the day I climb on that scale and am told whether or not my week was good or not. I have to admit, last night as I was getting ready to face down the scale, I was pretty excited. I knew that I had been pretty good all week. I mean there wasn't a single day that I dipped into my Flex Points. I stepped up and Heather (the WW worker) said to me, not too bad. You lost what you gained last time. Which was good, but I kept waiting for her to say it was more than that. Well, I guess it was--barely--I lost 3.4 pounds this week. I know, I know, that is a good loss for one week, but I was really hoping for 5 pounds this week. After all, it was the first time in 3 or so weeks that I had been dedicated to the program, so I was expecting maybe a shock to my system and a great loss.

So, I reviewed my journal this past week and I realized that I had not been drinking all of my water. Having said that, I have decided starting this week, I will get a minimum of 80 oz of water a day. Water has so many great benefits in addition to keeping a person hydrated, that I know it will help me this week. We will see how it goes this week. Wish me luck!

Good luck on that scale-it takes SO much self discipline to be healthy. Keep up the good work and I'll be checking in to make sure you're staying with it. :)
