Saturday we took a quick fishing trip to Otter Creek Reservoir. Let me tell you, ice fishing is awesome. As long as you are bundled up and stay warm you can have a great time. Well, the weather was about as perfect as you can expect, the sun was out and the best par, no wind blowing. What does all of this mean? It means I stayed warm and the fish were biting. We ended up spending about 4 hours on the lake and returned home with enough fish that we had a fish fry Saturday night. I think fresh trout is about my favorite fish. If you have never tried ice fishing, you really should. Just be certain the ice is thick enough!
