Weight, no you weight, no weight weight!

Just a short note to keep you posted. This past Monday the scales once again gave me some good news. I was down another 1.8 pounds, which brings the total loss since the first of the year to 7.4 pounds. It is slowly happening.

At the meeting this week, we were reminded to watch out BLT's. As much as I wish we were talking about BACON, it wasn't. We need to be aware of our Bites, Licks, and Tastes. It is those three items that help derail a good weight plan. Just those small things that we really don't think of, that tend to add up.

At work, we have decided that we were going to hold our own Biggest Loser Competition. No, we don't have to get on a scale in front of the entire company. We don't even have to report our weight loss to each other. Instead, we will just report our percentage loss each week. I think we are going to do it for the next 8 weeks. This is a little intimidating, because many of the people that I work with are true athletes. They run marathons and triathlons, they have a little more training and will power than I do. But I do have motivation. I have an upcoming cruise and I want to look as good as I possibly can for this event. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
