Friday Night Lights

I have always been intrigued by Nephi's Main Street. When I was a young lad, Main Street was as far as I could go. Which back then was the Highway, so we had more traffic than we do now. I remember riding in the back of Sperry's station wagon looking at the street lights as we went by.

Main street always held possibilities. Driving out of town North meant we were going to a family function or to Provo shopping for school clothes. Driving South usually meant a vacation involving a fishing trip.

As a teenager, it was the social scene. You always could find something to do or someone to hang out with, just by "taking a main".

Today it is not as exciting as it once was, but I am still intrigued by the possibilities that it holds.
