Then the morning comes

When I worked at FranklinCovey (in the early years) one of my favorite views from my 4th floor office window was the sunrise in the mornings. There is just something about seeing the sun rise in the mornings that makes everything okay. This morning as I looked out the window I knew I had to capture a picture as the new day. Being the amateur photographer that I am, I couldn't seem to get it right, but this is what I came up with anyway.

The sun coming up is absolutely beautiful. I just wish the mountains below were not so dark. When I realized that this picture wasn't exactly what I wanted, I looked to my left and noticed another of my favorite views. I absolutely love how Mount Nebo watches over our little valley. With the fresh dusting of snow it received yesterday it looked so clean this morning.

Because of my admiration for Nebo, you get two pictures for the price of one today. Hope you enjoy!

I actually love that you caught the silhouette - it gives a nice dark contrast to the light of the sun.
