Kind of spoiled.

Yeah, I freely admit it, I am kind of spoiled. This past Wednesday was my birthday and well, I was showered with the love. My phone started ringing early with phone calls from friends and family, I received text messages full of wishes, was serenaded by my sister-in-law and her co-workers, received a basket full of candy, lunch and dinner with friends and even received a flower delivery. The celebration didn't end there.
Wednesday I was told to keep Saturday open, because we were going to do Pizza or something with the family. Well, Saturday as I report to my parent's house for pizza I sensed something was up, dad had his jacket sitting out and there wasn't any pizza in the house. Before long Paul, Mike, and Chase show up. Mike then tells me we need to head out because we are going to check on a boat. (Because we have been wanting to get a boat for the last several years, this is a plausible excuse.) After we pick up Chris we head to the freeway. Mike tells me the boat is in Salt Lake, I figure this is a little extreme, but am willing to go with the flow. Once we hit the point of the mountain I ask how much longer Mike replied with "we are almost there." About 21st South I lean over to Chase and say "We are going to the Jazz game." He replied with "I thought we were buying a boat." Once we took the 6th South exit, my suspicions were confirmed. I was pretty excited as we walked through the doors, but was even more excited as we took the stairs down instead of the stairs up. The seats were awesome and the game was GREAT. As the game went into overtime I leaned over to Chase and said: "The only thing better than a Jazz win is a Jazz win in overtime." I had such a good time and had an amazing birthday this year. Yep, I have to admit it, I am spoiled, just a little.
