Yesterday as I sat in church and looked around at my cousins, aunts and uncles and realized how grateful I am to have such an amazing extended family. We had gathered together for the blessing of my cousin's baby. I reflected upon this year and thought of the family that traveled to Vegas and Nephi for Chris and Liz's wedding as well as the family that was here in Nephi just a few months ago for the blessing of Baby A.

Then last night as I was texting with a very dear friend, she mentioned to me that my family was loaded with great traditions during the next few months. I don't mind saying, I was a little swelled with emotion as I thought about the next couple of months and the opportunity I will have to spend time with my incredible family.
The pictures above are of my AMAZING grandparents. Grandparents/parents that instilled in their children and grandchildren the importance of family. Supporting one another, helping each other, loving unconditionally and above all else, remembering that family is what it is all about!
I have both of these pictures framed and on display in my home reminding me of their wonderful examples. Today, I am Thankful for Loving Grandparents and a supportive and loving extended family.

One of the most cherished talks I remember having with you was about our wonderful grandparents. We were both very blessed in that aspect. But I love that you went a little further and gave it the the extended family also. Very nice!!
OHHHH I teared up a little! I love this post. I have to say family is truly the sugar of life. And some people are more fortunate than others to experience that their whole entire lives. But family isn't just blood, it's the people we invite to be our family. I have friends that have been wonderful family members to me. And now I look forward to the family and traditions that I'm creating with Rob. This is such a great post!
