Giving Thanks #28...These Guys II

Even though the picture shows the Juab County Sheriff, this post is actually about all Law Enforcement.  This post was meant to show up yesterday, but I had someone say something very negative to me about Law Enforcement.  So, it took me all day yesterday to cool down so this email didn't turn into a world-famous See El Pain rant!  I grew up in a law enforcement family and I have the utmost respect for them.  They are truly never "off duty" their phone can ring in the middle of the night.  If my phone rings in the middle of the night, I usually say:  "This better be an emergency" for them it is!  They spend their time looking for people that get lost, rescuing drunks that roll their ATV's, breaking up fights, and yes arresting people for doing stupid things.  Guess what?  They usually don't get thanked for doing their job.  Often times they are the first to respond to an emergency and administer CPR or comfort people until the EMTs arrive.  They are called names, flipped the bird, and told "I pay your salary", well if you pay their salary, maybe you can give them a little more.  (Wow, this still sounds like a rant.)  Our law enforcement community is made up of some great people that do this job, because they care about others.  I for one am personally grateful to them, for all they do.  Today, I give them my thanks.
