I know this picture is a Christmas shot, but this post isn't about just Christmas. Instead it is about the many family traditions that we have. All throughout the year, we have many annual traditions that help us to make our memories. Easter egg hunts, opening day of the deer hunt, tables of pies at Thanksgiving dinner, Hark!, camping trips, Christmas Parties the Saturday and Sunday before Christmas, New Year's Eve dinner and games, cake and ice cream for birthdays and an orange at Christmas. There are so many more and I love them all. I love the traditions that have been passed down through the generations as well as new traditions being created. Together, they help to make the memories that I treasure.

Oh yes! Traditions are wonderful...they remind us of better times and give us hope for good memories too. That sentence is weird, but you get my drift. Love the family photo!
