Giving Thanks #7....I have two little feet....

Truth be told, I could probably write this post about the prefectly comfortable pair of shoes that I am wearing in this picture.  Yep, picked them up on sale a few weeks ago!
But, really that is not what this post is about.  I am grateful for my two feet!  These two feet that take me to the places I need to go.  While hunting they carry me up hills and back down them.    I find them useful when I am mowing the lawn, raking the leaves, or just hauling the laundry down the stairs.  They have been through quite a bit with me, I tend to go barefoot during the summer months and often times I jam the little toe into the corner of the bed, the wall, the sofa, when I am too lazy to turn on the light!  Yes, my feet carry a great deal on them everyday!  And they have never let me down.  More important than just my feet, I am very grateful for my health.  I am grateful that I can get out into the mountains to hike and to hunt.  Although not in the best shape, my health is good enough that I can get out and take care of my yard, I can do the things I enjoy doing.  I know there are so many that struggle each day with even the smallest of tasks.  I feel so lucky to not face these trials.  Today, I do feel blessed and very fotunate to be able to have the health I do and the strength, willpower, and vigor to be achieve my goals.

Amen!!! Feet do take quite the toll don't they?! Imagine if we walked around on stubs, that would suck. :)

You and your shoes! How many pairs do you have now? I know the post isn't about the shoes, but there was an honorable mention.

This is a great thing to be thankful for! And Melissa is right, I don't want to walk around on stubs :)

We had an advisor working with us last week who was in a wheelchair. Arranging his travel to and around this crazy city really opened my eyes and made me so incredibly grateful for my two healthy legs. Even in a city that isn't wheelchair friendly he kept up a great attitude and joined in on all of the fun, reminding me I need a little more of his attitude.
