Giving Thanks #21...My Father, My Hero

Today, I am very thankful for my father.  Throughout the course of the last 40 something years, he and I have butted heads, we have gone to Jazz games together, hunted, camped, fished, and even worked together.  He taught me to work hard, to serve others, and has given me the stubborn streak I now sport.  If you have ever met my dad, you are instantly best friends; he can talk with anyone about pretty much anything.  He has always been there for me.  He has scooped me up and rushed me to the ER for stitches, he sat through football games just to watch me sit the bench, he has attended a few plays and musicals, and traveled to Cedar City on multiple occasions to help me fix my car or move furniture.  Today, I am grateful for my father, my friend, my example, my hero.  Love you dad!
