By design, I have picked today to give thanks for my oldest niece. Today is Ber's birthday and she is turning 21. I just can't believe how fast the time has gone. It seems like only yesterday that this nervous uncle paced at the hospital waiting for his first niece to be born. From the instant I first saw her, I knew that I would spoil her rotten and spoil I have! Today she is a beautiful and talented 21 year old Young Lady. She is strong willed and determined. No matter what she sets her mind to, she does it. She is quirky and oh so much fun. (As you can see from the picture above.) During the last twenty-one years I have gone to dance reviews, piano recitals, volleyball games and softball tournaments. While serving in the YM and attending activities, she convinced me to try square dancing and country swing with her. She makes life fun! Thanks Amber! Today, I want to say how grateful I am to be the uncle of this beautiful young lady.

It's crazy how fast time goes by and how quickly these babies, which we remember every part of their life, turns into a grown up. And on the inside, we still feel young. Such a weird transition in life, huh? Great picture and post!
