This evening I am sitting here looking at my stack of Christmas DVDs. Reading through the titles I am reminded of Christmases Past. "A Christmas Story" is my father's favorite Christmas movie and he loves to watch it when it plays for 24 hours non-stop. I love to watch my dad watch it and see the laughter on his face. I have the 4-pack of the Rankin-Bass Movies. During my childhood whenever they were on it was the true signal of Christmas to me.
Yesterday while at lunch one of my co-workers said that every year she watches National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Each year while wrapping my Christmas Presents I stay up late and I watch White Christmas. But I think my all-time favorite Christmas movie is A Charlie Brown Christmas. I guess I have always felt a kin-ship with Charlie Brown and the when he selects the little tree it touches me. But most poignant to me, is the lesson Linus teaches his friends at the end. It never hurts to be reminded about the true meaning of Christmas.
Now I am interested. What is your favorite Christmas Movie? Is there a movie that is part of your traditions? Is there a movie that helps you get into the Christmas Spirit? Tell me about it!

To be honest, I'm a bit of a bah humbug when it comes to holiday movies - but I've been known to pull out The Holiday and Love Actually
